People are not repositories of pop culture.

I know I put Milton Nascimento on an "early" mixtape, as you put it, as if it's part of my oeuvre. I'm not sure what you mean by no one would appreciate Monte Carlo. You live in SF, so surely you have some peeps who would like to watch an old movie with you? It was you and Kurt who watched the uncut version of Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid, and it was you who struck an attitude of disbelief when I said I had just recently watched Tati for the first time, so why is a little musical Lubitsch so hard for your friends to handle? Anyway, people are not repositories of pop culture. If you miss me, those things are not the nicest things to say.

When you said, "He's not absurd like you. And you wouldn't let me say so many stupid things," that came closer to the heart of the matter. If you miss me, miss me in this honest way.

people are repositories of genetic code and, in the nervous system, electrical/chemical activity that can be construed as information regarding human culture, which encompasses but is not limited to pop culture. they also provide an environment for intestinal flora. in this respect humans are aiight by me
