12 inches of (snoball), Friday, 1 January 2010 20:35 (fifteen years ago)

My favourite line from that film: "Don't psychoanalyse me!!!"

12 inches of (snoball), Friday, 1 January 2010 20:37 (fifteen years ago)

can't believe we didn't include Animal Farm as an option.

sarahel, Friday, 1 January 2010 20:42 (fifteen years ago)

or "Moby Dick"

12 inches of (snoball), Friday, 1 January 2010 20:43 (fifteen years ago)

or Jaws 2: The Revenge

sarahel, Friday, 1 January 2010 20:44 (fifteen years ago)

wavelength ftw for entirely redefining my self-image after reading it in the other thread

high-five machine (schlump), Friday, 1 January 2010 21:37 (fifteen years ago)

kind of baffled how sex cld be like Wall•E

I X Love (Abbott), Friday, 1 January 2010 21:40 (fifteen years ago)

quiet and robotic surrounded by refuse

high-five machine (schlump), Friday, 1 January 2010 21:42 (fifteen years ago)

and incompetent obese people?

sarahel, Friday, 1 January 2010 21:43 (fifteen years ago)

┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐ (Steve Shasta), Friday, 1 January 2010 21:43 (fifteen years ago)

no option for gone in 60 seconds. i see. hrm.

latebloomer, Sunday, 3 January 2010 07:23 (fifteen years ago)

the zombies in 28 days later move pretty fast, though.

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 07:25 (fifteen years ago)

that dances w/ wolves scene was pretty intense for 10 year old me to watch iirc.

tehresa, Sunday, 3 January 2010 07:26 (fifteen years ago)

the amputation one?

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 07:27 (fifteen years ago)

uh i meant the sex scene!

tehresa, Sunday, 3 January 2010 07:28 (fifteen years ago)

but yeah that was intense, too.

tehresa, Sunday, 3 January 2010 07:28 (fifteen years ago)

I like "My Dinner With Andre" as an option. It sounds boring, it looks boring, there's not a clip that you could pick to make it look interesting, but if you just give it even ten minutes of your attention, you'll find that it's so not boring that it's amazing. An unlikely film.

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 08:20 (fifteen years ago)

my mom fell asleep watching it.

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 08:22 (fifteen years ago)

Remind me not to fuck your mom.

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 08:24 (fifteen years ago)

omg

t(o_o)t (ENBB), Sunday, 3 January 2010 08:24 (fifteen years ago)

wow!

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 08:25 (fifteen years ago)

Come on -- surely somebody laughed at that joke besides me.

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 08:27 (fifteen years ago)

might be time 4 bed, kenan

Queef Latina (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 3 January 2010 08:27 (fifteen years ago)

You people don't understand comedy.

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 08:31 (fifteen years ago)

hey kenan, here's a reminder, don't fuck my mom, okay?

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 08:54 (fifteen years ago)

we all laughed when kenan said he was going to be a comedian. we're not laughing now.

estela, Sunday, 3 January 2010 08:56 (fifteen years ago)

hey kenan, here's a reminder, don't fuck my mom, okay?

Thanks! Ok. Check.

Yer a mensch.

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:02 (fifteen years ago)

we all laughed when kenan said he was going to be a comedian. we're not laughing now.

I do try not to be all Police Academy 2 in bed, though.

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:04 (fifteen years ago)

that isn't one of the poll options.

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:12 (fifteen years ago)

What's Up Tiger Lily?

This requires a comma even more than most phrases that are missing a comma.

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:24 (fifteen years ago)

Whatever, just remember not to fuck my mom.

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:28 (fifteen years ago)

I wrote it down, ok?

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:29 (fifteen years ago)

you told me to remind you.

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:30 (fifteen years ago)

I know, I know. Jeez. Look, I have to go to work...

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:32 (fifteen years ago)

let me know if/when i've sufficiently reminded you not to fuck my mom. I can get my mom to remind you too, if that would be helpful.

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:33 (fifteen years ago)

I'll call you at lunch, if I have time.

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:34 (fifteen years ago)

should i leave a note reminding you in your lunch box?

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:40 (fifteen years ago)

That would be confusing, since "lunch box" is one of my pet names for your mom.

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:42 (fifteen years ago)

just remember not to fuck her, okay?

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:43 (fifteen years ago)

Not even a little bit?

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:43 (fifteen years ago)

how many times do I have to remind you?

sarahel, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:44 (fifteen years ago)

No, no, you're right.

*sigh*

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 09:44 (fifteen years ago)

i can't decide between wicker man and the lion the witch and the wardrobe

though really that would depend on which version of lww - i suppose that also goes for wicker man as well

not sure what this says about me possibly that i have a messianic complex or actually wicker man says that underneath a beardy paradise of naked ladies and folk cardigans lurks a realm of EVIL AND TWISTED DARKNESS while lion witch & wardrobe means that underneath a veneer of fanciful twee oddness and barking weirdness lurks a CONVENTIONAL CHRISTIAN MORALITY PLAY

yes either of those would describe my sex life

Kill Bill means that every 10 minutes (or every time it occurs) it's basically a completely different genre.

ogmor, Sunday, 3 January 2010 17:39 (fifteen years ago)

knocked up is not on the list?

The response to this is too too obvious.

kenan, Sunday, 3 January 2010 17:40 (fifteen years ago)

i was thinking of a disclaimer but whatever

tehresa, Sunday, 3 January 2010 17:41 (fifteen years ago)

saw this and thought "oh good i will add these movies to my netflix queue"
then i found there are 2 "the brave new world"s
one features colin farrell and is about jamestown
the other is french and described by netflix as "When her biological clock starts ticking, Lucie (Natalia Dontcheva) tells her lesbian lover, Marion (Vanessa Larré), that she wants a baby. Marion agrees, and the couple embarks on the delicate process of finding a suitable father -- eventually settling on Marion's old pal Hugo (Grégory Fitoussi). Lucie and Marion's unconventional path to pregnancy elicits a full range of reactions from their friends and family in this charming French comedy."
i added the jamestown one cuz my gurl don't like subtitles

Meteor Crater (jdchurchill), Sunday, 3 January 2010 17:57 (fifteen years ago)

i meant "the new world"s
not "the brave new world"s
