Is there a sweet spot in the toilet to minimize splash damage?

Like if a dude doesn't want to pee slower but he also doesn't want splashes to leave inner bowl area?

tbh i think sitting down might be the only way

it's more about the shape & velocity of the faecal imprecation involved ime

I'm right-handed, and found that it's best to stand just slightly to the right of center, somewhere between the toilet's 5-and 6 o'clock positions. Stand w/ your body facing to the left, abt. 20° or so. Aim initially for the wall just above the water line at the bowl's 11 o'clock position, gradually turning to about 8 o'clock as the pressure of the stream diminishes. No splashes, and no drips on the rim.

I misread that badly and thought you were advocating pissing on the bathroom wall

Technically, no splashes will "leave inner bowl area" that way

hmm tbh I've never been in a bathroom that had a clock, much less one placed in a position where you could easily piss on it

I can't say where I thought I was aiming but I woke up from a dead sleep this morning with an absolutely enormous need to piss, stumbled into the toilet, and when all was said and done I'd missed any sweet spot and totally soaked the front of my boxers. Where was I going with this? Well anyway, I pissed on myself today. Whatever I did, don't do that.
