Can I tell you the drawback of the 2-4 p.m. range? There is a serious danger of getting "Afternoon Delight" stuck in your head. Real enjoyment can still be had but there's still "rubbin' sticks and stones together make the sparks ignite" haunting the whole thing.

I have never heard afternoon delight outside of arrested development but dang if I'm not gonna think of sky-rockets every day from 2-4 pm now.

voted 10am-noon w/ as much truthfulness as I can muster on ILX & then realized that it's presently that time where I live & felt a bit of shame, briefly. But it's the truth.

though this reminds me of a conversation I had with a scientist whose name would be worth dropping so I won't, but she observed that having to fuck at night goes against the "natural" flow of life, since people w/ normal-ish jobs are typically tired by then, & that we'd be better off if we could come home around midday, have lunch & fuck, & then go back to work.

voted 10am-12pm but only cos to hell with waking up earlier than that on a free day.

I am a 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. kinda guy. It's when I wake up naturally. I realize how freakish this is.

voted 6pm-8pm because eveningtime sex with s.o. is pretty much ideal for stretching it out and exercising langour - the day's doings are done but it is not so late that you can't do other stuff afterwards if you so wish, a rosy glow on both your faces

I'll take what/whenever I can get, but age has knocked the midnight-8 am energy waaaay down.

aw - what i meant by that is that a significant number of people are still at work or on their way home from work between 6pm and 8pm.

also everyone answering between 8 am and 6 pm is traducing the Working Week and yet you do not question them?

"bend over i'll drive" works well on rural backroads late at night, it does not work so well during rush hour traffic

Any time of day is good for sex, but I don't like being too drunk for it anymore so 2 am to 6 am is not the best. if I'm drunk and tired, I would rather go to sleep, and do it when we wake up. Having sex first thing in the morning is probably my favorite thing. My ex and I were incompatible on that score though. But it's pretty much impossible for me to wake up next to some beautiful little thing dressed in only what she sleeps in and not wanting some manner of exorcism, pretty much regardless of how long we've been dating (we were together for four years). I used to channel that pent up energy into going to the gym, but since we broke up, I've lost that early morning motivation to release pent up energy. I work at a bar btw as does she, so we both wake up whenever. She definitely liked to sleep in more though.
