How often do you clip your toenails?

i figure females will have more sensible answers, so I'm not doing a poll.

like as a dude i'm pretty good about my fingernails, ya know, weekly and such, but toenails are annoying to cut and sometimes I've let them go, uh, a bit longer....I'm so ashamed of my feet i wear socks during sex too.

so I'd say like once every 1-2 months. how about y'all?

when they start making holes in my socks

just about every pair of socks i have has holes in them for that reason

i was kinda embarassed cuz I finally clipped mine the other night which took a while, and in the short play i'm doing i'm wearing sandals, and my co-actor comes by, sees the cut nails, and tells me I need to cut my nails (meaning they're still probably not trimmed enuff, but I only had 15 mins!)

whenever they get annoying. every 2 or 3 wks i guess.

I get a pedicure about once a month so they do it then.

I know people get weird about nail clippings but I am not sure this qualifies as TMI! </pedant>

Whenever I'm sitting somewhere barefoot and think of it and can discreetly dispose of the clippings, which are often not clippings as much as picked-them-off-with-thumb-and-forefinger.

i did mine at the theatre the other night. went into the bathroom, came out with shorter nails.

some people say that clipping rounded causes ingrown toenails.

i get pedicures pretty regularly but I have never had them do it square-tipped and I have never had a problem.

It definitely did for me. I had ingrown toenail problems from not being taught the right way until I was in college. Finally let my big toe nails grow out a bit (painful but necessary), clipped them across straight, never had another problem.

About every two weeks on Saturdays after my shower.

I really enjoy clipping my toenails, and when I see other people with long toenails I secretly really want to clip them (though I have never, ever expressed this bcz it is creepy).

Also I know you're supposed to clip them straight across and not rounded but then the unclipped corners rub against the bedsheets and it feels really weird (yes it sounds psychotic but trust me it's not)

Dirty toenails are the worst things ever.

i have always trimmed mine rounded. i could imagine doing them square would be hell on socks?
