These days, more angry than sad. Maybe different a couple of years ago.

I have gone from being sad because I could tell I was in the slow, inevitable process of fucking things up,
to being angry at myself for fucking things up,
to being angry at everyone else for letting me fuck things up
(or not fucking their own things up, or fucking different things up with no apparent repercussions for themselves)

how is this change in attitude working out for me? uh well I dunno

Sad and Angry are mischievous brothers. I think that angry is so exhausting to me that it dissolves into sad.

Angry, but I didn't vote. I think Freud said that sad is really just angry, something.

Depression is anger turned inward and anger is anger turned outward I think was the gist. They are close siblings like their cousins love and hate.
I'm neither angry nor depressed and I suggest for your physical well being you follow my lead on this one.
Fun fact: Autistic kids never get angry and rarely get sad and can't recognize angry or sadness in others.
Sounds kind of great to me.
