"Iovae is Ron Orovitz, Cincinnati resident and purveyor of thuddingly strange and scientific noise compositions. Since 1988, Ron has been using turntables, tapes, four track recorders, various sound testing equipment and unconventional rhythm devices (including machine guns and firecrackers) to establish the Iovae sound. Iovae has shared collaborative releases with Mammal and Burning Star Core. He has had multiple releases, including some on C.
