werewolf?

I had a dream where I was sitting in the school park just down the road and it was winter. I am a man. It had snowed that year and every one I knew was there. completely out of no where a dog shows up, black and white patterns on it's fur and it shifts it's form, being able to walk on two legs and Starts attacking people. It comes forward to me but I do not run. Instead when it is inches away from me I reach out and pet it, it doesn't attack. Once I am petting under it's throat it stretches it's neck, not abnormally long, to gently bite my knee and it tells me in my mind that "I love you". I am surprised and don't speak, I can't speak. everything is back and I wake up.
