My conjecture is that you need a little reinforcement that your wife is attracted to you. Maybe you know, deep down, that she loves you, but you also have fears, deep down, that she doesn't. I would tell her to spend a little extra attention to you, give you a special night or a series of special days, but I'm not talking to her. I'm talking to you.
Why don't you do something extra special for her? Instead of falling for the old easy way of taking her to dinner or something, do something that takes more work and she'll appreciate more. Do the dishes for her. Spend time with the kids so she can go out. You can make dinner for her, with a banana split for dessert. Just ice cream, you supply the banana.
