what does dreaming about spiders mean?

I had a dream that I awoke with a big spider on my arm and i went to shake it off and i thought it went on my pillow but i woke up and cut the light on nothing was there. So i was scared. But what does that mean?

Whoa! Thats not a first, Sheena. My sister has had THE SAME DREAM, exept for the spider, she said it was crawling up the side of her bed, close to her face. She says that her eyes were almost open, and when she woke up she jump out of bed and flipped on the lights and searched her sheets, but, alas, nothing. Weird. Anywho, I think you are just scarred of spiders. I mean, no big deal, eh? Well, I only can give you adsive; sleep good*!

I had a dream that I was trying to catch a black spider...and it kept getting away. I was scared of it but i kept trying to trap it. It is the exam period for me..what does this dream mean?!
