recuring dreams of a loved ones death

I keep having this dream that my girlfriend is dying of lung cancer. In some cases I give her mouth to mouth and shes okay. In other dreams she is already dead and I am at her funeral. In each case she died from lung cancer. Can you tell me what this might mean?
