Why I keep dreaming of my ex boyfriend?

My bf and I broke up this year. I have been dreaming about my ex bf lately. Like he was making me jealous, and very affectionate. Also dream about him trying to hide and just looking at me. Having physical contact with him and I was trying to make him happy. Why I keep dreaming about him?

I have also had dreams lately about my ex who I loved dearly, when I have the dream my feeling seem to come out again for him..now I cannot stop thinking about him. I truely believe I miss him loads, but as our relationship ended badly we do not talk, and I am now in a new relationship. But it is driving me crazy.
