i was on a dirt road graded between what looked like mine remnants, at least fifty feet high on both sides. i couldn't get out of the track. i considered a nuclear bomb but that wasn't in the play book. this may have taken place in a federal facility that looks like a workplace near pike's peak, colorado, at least in my mind. dr. freud, can you help?

The "mine remnants" are actually nuggets. you've been stewing over the nugget that chaki was supposed to set you up with a year ago, and in that time, the nugget has taken on such an inflated prominence in your mind that in your dream, you are surrounded by mountains of them. the dirt road represents the unclean, angry mental path you have been traveling as you have unsuccessfully attempted to come to terms with chaki letting you down. The federal facility is actually the prison that you perhaps might have ended up in had you and chaks made the longed-for connection. Pike's Peak is representative of the great obstacle still necessary to surmount before you can let yourself be free of the tragedy of chaki's nugget.
