Classic Nostalgia Syndrome. Even if you've actually been in "green grass fields" or only ever seen them in movies, it's still a longing for a paradise you think you've experienced, but that never really existed. Your alliteration of "green" and "grass" is significant. May I suggest your subconcious is saying you give up on all thoughts of having children, and become a poet instead?
