And judging from the DVD versions of Bob Le Flambeur and Un Flic, they'd probably look very nice...

I saw the restored version of Le Cercle rouge recently at cinema, it looked great, the colours were magnificent. I've also seen an older VHS version of the film, it was awful, the colours had faded really badly.

I got to see Le Samourai on the big screen once and it was an amazing experience. The dark haired dude from Starsky And Hutch was in the audience too. heheh.

i just got La Samourai on dvd, from ebay. seems there was a french release of this (with english subtitles) a couple years ago, but has since disappeared again
