Once Upon a Time in America DVD

I really love this movie; it's got to be in my Top 10. So glad it's finally out on DVD. I've never seen the opium den scenes look that clear before (more used to the grittier look provided by a beat-up VHS copy). The crucial swell of the soundtrack seems a bit undermixed in the closing scene. Shickel's commentary--I didn't know John Lennon wrote "Yesterday"! :)

Once Upon A Time In America is one of the best movies I have ever seen, can't wait to get it on DVD. Wierd the way it worked out, for a long time I was planning on buying the VHS tape but for some reason I kept holding out, then one day after a discussion of the movie I decided I'd go out and get it when that SAME DAY I read the DVD would be available soon. Needless to say, I am very excited to get my hands on a copy, even if it is just to see Leone's always excellent cinematography for the first time the way it was meant to be seen, in widescreen.
