Madder Than Max, Dirtier Than Harry....

... has anyone else seen this political thriller / zombie flick?

I thought this movie was absolutely terrible. I'd go into details but I can't remember anything about it.

Recent Irish movies that impressed me: Crush Proof and err....

Oh yeah, I Went Down was very enjoyable. Brendan Gleeson rocks.

Don't forget War of the Buttons. And About Adam. And The Last of the High Kings.

Oh, Irish films are terrible. I Went Down is okay, but it's just good on Irish film standards. I know it sounds awful to say it but there I have.

DV,

What you say is true. The Eliminator is a fantastic movie, no whimsy, no diddledy-eyedeldy rubbish, just straight ahead ACKSHUN. I hope the new zombie movie they're making in Leitrim is half as good.

is that the Eliminator people making the Leitrim zombie movie?

incidentally, anyone seen the genuinely funny "Flying Saucer Rock 'N' Roll" (aliens invade 1950s Northern Ireland), featuring Ardal O'Hanlon? It actually has production values.
