I have that one. It's got lots of great stuff on it. Mastering is iffy as Kino usually can be, but it's still pretty essential.

I almost bought The Movies Begin (and the Melies set by itself) at Christmas but picked the More Treasures From American Film Archives box set instead.

Nicheflix or Greencine (one or the other) has almost all of the Kino sets, I was thinking of joining just for them.

Not my kind of thing, but I just saw "Henri Langlois: The Phantom of the Cinematheque" yesterday (mostly excellent), and it’s a set he’d die for, if, um, he weren’t already dead.

OT: In case anyone missed the first Treasures from American Film Archives set, it's being reissued with updated liner notes and a rather generous discount. Preorders on Amazon for less than $50!!!
