My Name is Nobody just got released on DVD and I check it out. I thought it was great. Not quite as good as Leone but pretty close and with more of a sense of humor. Do you know of any other spaghetti westerns (aside from Leone and Corbucci) that would be good to check out?

six months pass...
There was a non-Leone spaghetti mini-fest in Brooklyn this weekend -- Death Rides a Horse and The Big Gundown, both starring Lee van Cleef, scored by Morricone, and a couple notches below Leone, are worth seeing. Did these two directors just utterly cop SL's visual style -- not as many monumental closeups is one of the few immediate differences -- or was SL just not the giant we think he is?
