i liked noi pretty well too. sort of kaurismaki-esque, but more melancholy.
i need to see more moodysson.

i saw daybreak by bjorn runge recently... it was decent, particularly the amusing subplot with the bricklayer and the elderly shut-ins.

i absolutely love August's "Pele the Conquerer" - it probably counts as one of my top 2 or 30 films ever. he's made nothing good since as far as i know.

I quite enjoyed I Am Curious - Yellow, especially. I didn't care for it until about 50 odd minutes in though, so I think it is something you have to stick out. It's worth it, though.
