Even if your personal canon has no room for a film about a series of jewel heists perpetrated by giant alien jellyfish, you gotta admit Honda was no slouch behind the camera. After all, it takes a certain amount of sophistication to pull off "Attack of the Mushroom People."

Ishiro Honda's body of work is a treasure-trove of imaginative and audacious filmmaking. Show some love.
