so i dug up this script i wrote several years now, in college (sigh), and i've been giving it another once-over.

the setup is that a wierd small town (bearing a PASSING RESEMBLANCE to the one i grew up in) was founded by/is run by a trio of vampires in hiding from their euro masters. one of them is bored as shit and kills a kid, the outside attention includes a current-affair-ish 'news' outfit, conrolled (surprise!) by these euro vampire bluebloods, much flowery dialogue and violence ensues.

what i was trying to do was a hybrid of a john sayles movie and um a vampire movie. what i have is pretty lumpy and flat, but i still like the ideas of a small town as an escape from the urban, but also the impossibility of isolation, even (zzz) the underlying nastiness of small-town life

or not? is this just totally stupid? what would you do, good people?

Don't skimp on the gratuitous nudity. Goth-vampire boobies are an easy sell.

make the vampires politicians and the law in small town, loosely base their policies on republican metaphorical bloodsucking, team of leftist protestors is headed by a mysterious loner who knows their secret. kids in town get privy to secret via witnessing some secret ceremony, soon they team up with loner in effort to overthrow local vampire gov't.

note: head vampire based on dick cheney, mayor is ineffectual non-vampire twit based on gwb. also, tits aplenty are needed. ann coulter/michelle malkin-esque evil duo who support vampires must engage in torrid lesbian sex.
