they kill the chubby comic-relief guy. Unforgivable.

and the formula plot was really, really bad. 15 minutes of funny chases and fights; stow the rest.

I didn't like the instant replay thing they kept doing. The story was like Jean Claude Van Damme-level stuff.

But the fighting was cool.

Yeah if you went to this movie for plot or dialogue you were in the wrong movie theater. Still Ong-Bak was badass.

But the classic Jackie Chan '80s stuff is exciting/funny all the way through; ditto the first few Once Upon a Time in Chinas. That's the standard I'm used to (or Stephen Chow on his game).
