Hey ILF cineastes, say something interesting about Mira Nair

I liked Monsoon Wedding well enough and loved The Namesake. I don't have the greatest vocabulary for discussion of film but I was very impressed by some of the shots and I found her storytelling very original and effective.

"Salaam Bombay" is grate. I haven't seen any of her other films.
