Just saw John Woo's "Hard Boiled" last night and it was fantastic ! One of the best straight up balls to the wall action movies I've seen in a long time. Everything that I want out of an action movie i.e, whatever whatever plot, ridiculous one liners and nonsensical dialogue and then back to the fucking tour de force action sequences. Tony Leung and Chow Yun Fat are ace, these guys don't shoot bullets they fucking spray em everywhichway imaginable. I wanted to start this thread after I realized I need mas accion!Know what I'm sayin,let's get down to it.

I started to think of some, but honestly... once you namecheck Hard Boiled everything else is unsatisfactory. The sailboat and warehouse shootouts are some of the finest choreographed scenes in anything.
Other than that, maybe The Taking Of Pelham 1-2-3

Didn't know that this film has one of the highest on screen body count ever. 230 people killed on screen ! Ridiculous.
