I recently bought a new "Classic" iPod, with video capacity and a ton of storage space. I thought this was pretty cool, since I occasionally travel for work and watching a movie on my iPod sounded ideal. But when I searched the iTunes Movie Store, I was very disappointed with the poor -- and very limited -- selection of titles. The few hundred films that were in stock were big Hollywood releases, most of which were terribly uninteresting. I settled on Rosemary's Baby, which is admittedly great, but not really what I was looking for (I was looking for Killer of Sheep or Nine Lives, actually, but these are pretty obscure choices, I admit).

Are any of you aware of good (and legal) online movie download services, which stock more interesting titles than the iTunes Movie Store? Ideally, I'm interested in something compatible with iTunes.

Yeah, it's kind of sick that you're much better off hunting down video torrents, many of which have already been converted to iPod format. As always, pirates get it right long before legit business when it comes to the digital age. Most legal downloads, which already have a limited selection, and are encumbered with DRM that won't let you transfer it off your computer, to boot...
