Clearly people need someone to pick on, just to make sure it's not them this time.

When I devolve into the kind of person who sifts through the entirety of ILX looking to C&P ancient lulz written by some poster I don't know and have never met, furtively whacking it on a sub-board to curry favour with dorks.com, then I would be the sort of hypocrite you describe. Or I'd have OCD. Oh and BTW congratulations on harnessing the full meaning of irony. I love it when people do that on the internet.

If you've started or egged on a slam thread about a person, knowing you're not supposed to start threads like that in the first place, it would be the height of all stupid to get the hurty butt when it gets deleted, the instigator gets banned, or whatever any moderator decides to do based on guidelines we've all agreed to.

suzy, Sunday, 18 May 2008 08:34 (sixteen years ago)

u mad, doggie

Dom Passantino, Sunday, 18 May 2008 09:07 (sixteen years ago)

Yes it's outrageous isn't it, that someone should dare object to having repeated diss threads started about them. Obviously anyone who does this must be a terrible person, and them complaining about the diss threads is in fact the big problem we're seeing here. The people starting and contributing to the diss threads, otoh, are completely great, fantastic, come across really well by their actions and contribute to making ilx such a great, happy place to fuck about on the interweb.

Any further harassment of this poster will result in a permanent ban from the site, and I don't give a fuck who you are, or how much I like you otherwise.
