Well done Tails...

on finally getting the 'Turdo' NFI thread modded. And now we'll none of us ever know what priceless pearls of wisdom HWATSSOO II was going to share with us before the plug was pulled.

And just what did I say to achieve that?

tailender (tailender), Friday, 30 January 2004 23:01 (twenty-one years ago)

I suspect it may have been more what you (or maybe I) goaded HWATSSOO II into saying in his last post, which came up on the 'new threads' list but the whole epic was canned before I had the chance to read it.

Gee, it must have been a goodie. :-)
Pity it wasn't enough to get him suspended. ;-)

But now I'll never know if he apologised . . .

tailender (tailender), Saturday, 31 January 2004 08:08 (twenty-one years ago)

rats, that means my obsequious sarcastic post envying the support he enjoyed from other posters (which he completely missed) was deleted too ...

still, the plan is for more of the same ...

I wouldn't be surprised if he counted it among the 'fanmail' he has to employ half the population of a mid-size English village to sort and edit.

He's probably having it laminated as we speak.

They say revenge is a dish best served cold - at this rate, you'll just about have to thaw it, pie.

Hmmmmmmm . . . . . apple and blackcurrant pie in freezer . . .

Hi Tails,

I would be happy to join the HWHNFI Fan Club. Does the Grate Man Himself know it exists?

Does the HWH stand for 'He Who Has'? If so I think I can guess the rest.

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Monday, 2 February 2004 10:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Thought you'd twig fairly quickly, Fred. :-)

Wonder how long it'll take him to do so . . .
We'll know when he starts asking questions about my private life again. ;)

Membership is free, but dependent on qualifying - you do so by getting up his overly-elevated nose at least twice in a 24-hour period, which means you qualified about the same time I did.

Welcome. I think you'll fit in very nicely.

Tails, what the hell happened to the 'most desperate fans' poll where nobody could work out what NFI stood for? How did it get modded? Don't tell me The Man Himself came back from outer space and blew a gasket!

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Monday, 9 February 2004 14:16 (twenty-one years ago)

I have no idea, but someone is being a bit precious about something, there. Maybe they have computers in Provence.

It was going on perfectly well when I logged off last night, and at that point the Ed had been and gone.

(PS, must add will to the membership list.)

tailender (tailender), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 07:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Wow. NFI has outdone himself tonight...

Ross (Ross), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:44 (twenty-one years ago)

It always gets good after I log off. :-(

BTW, That was a bloody short holiday - He was still around during the first VB final, and posting on the car4um on the 11th.

tailender (tailender), Saturday, 14 February 2004 07:54 (twenty-one years ago)

I stayed out of last night's entertainment and will stay out as long as HWATSSOO II does likewise (and maybe longer) but it all reminded me of that ancient cult show from the 70s, SOAP. It all just got stranger and stranger. And whoever created that Matthew character deserves a medal!

(Just driven home from the pool (temp 41 in Melb today) and the old movie show the ABC puts on Sat evenings was talking about the orig Frankenstein movies. No idea why I though that was worth mentioning...)

Only one last comment on this (yes, really, just one . . .):

amazing how he retracts and calms down as soon as I bring up the word "libel".

Cheers boys, that was great fun. :-)
