These are the two questions I ask myself after the massive turnaround in the bowling form of Brett Lee. Leeroy looked all at sea a few short weeks ago when he went for 83 runs (FFS) in one match. I and many others quite rightly called for his head but in recent matches Brett has finally done the right thing...
1. Bowling from stump to stump2. A significant change in the difference of pace of his slower and quicker balls. His slower ball is coming out a lot quicker it seems and this makes it harder for the batsmen to pick. I never thought I would see the day that I would witness Blee bowling a batsman with the slower nut.3.He's pitching it up...at last.
Could it be that DK Lillee has taught this naturally gifted athlete the mental side of bowling? Why can't our coaching panel do the same? Come on JB, how about earning your money and talking to the players instead of sitting in front of the VDU and the wagon wheels? After all, we don't want the wheels to fall off.
regards,
REB

JB comes out of this looking like a useless twit. HOw could he not think of something so obvious? It makes you wonder what he is there for.

After all, he couldn't even realise for himself that his line was off . . .

And he didn't know that until Ponting phoned him and explained it.
