I think we need a new name for the Vixens.
I dunno if it's PHs doing, but they seem to score runs at such a c-r-a-w-l nowadays.

Vic-crawl-ians?

Ironic given the way he played the game. I think the Vixen have had crabs at the top of the order (oo-er missus) for a while now. Elliott, Mott, Arnberger all fall into this category. Hodge is about the only one I can bring myself to watch batting.

Speaking of slow batsmen, it ain't exactly Tas-mania at the Gabba ATM.
This *could* be explained by the Qbillies wanting to bowl first, I suppose.

Stodge has at least upped the RR a little, Vic looking to post a big 1st Innings lead:
Western Australia 273
Victoria 196/2 (70.0 ov)

Victoria trail by 77 runs with 8 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

Lunch - Day 3

Batsmen: R B 4s 6s S/R
J Moss (RHB) 15 52 1 0 28.85 Striker
BJ Hodge (RHB) 82 156 10 0 52.56 Non-striker

Good fightback by WA to restrict the Vics to a lead of under 100:
Victorian 1st Innings 9/355 (107.5)

R M B 4 6
MTG Elliott 71 201 158 8 0
BJ Hodge 100 236 195 11 0
J Moss 52 115 114 3 1
CL White 58 64 8 1
