swimming poll

also started this poll to see if anyone (e.g. girls) voting option four could explain why at some point btw high school and graduating college every chick i know stopped actually going swimming despite always evincing great enthusiasm for going to places where swimming could be done????

my girl swims more often than i do

but shes in shape and im 2xmo

this applies only to casual swimming i do know girls that go to great lengths to get in the water but its not chilling by the pool type swimming? maybe a false distinction idk

nah i mean she swims a lot but she was also a good swimmer in high school and stuff so shes probably an exception.

i mean i dont really like swimming all that much i am sort of a chill by the pool dude

I like to dive in and see how far across the pool I can go underwater, being that guy where everyone says "Hey, where did he go?" and look at me, I'm all the way over here now.

(Maybe they don't ask "Where did he go?" but I do sometimes get "Hey, where did you come from?" from complete strangers.)

mostly they go "look at pleasant plains, showing off again, and jeez, why is his name pleasant plains, what a weird name, for a guy"

^ ignore. i like the dive approach to it lets me at least feign some kind of grace at my dad's place i like to see how many lengths i can do w/o coming up for air after this - in my mind - olympian dive from the deck

otm, i like to jump as high as i can and dive in at the straightest possible angle

I can't tread water, and I can only swim for about a minute before my weak ass arms get tired and I start to drown. So I wade in gradually and then hang out as close as I can to the big boys while still being able to touch, on the edge of the abyss.
