Aquarius, if we are going to have a slanging match - which is fine by me - do you think we could confine it to this thread wherever possible, to avoid boring the boys too much?

Or make it easier for them to watch, if that's what turns them on.:-)

tails, I was just about to make exacttly that suggestion.

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Wednesday, 12 November 2003 13:10 (twenty-one years ago)

You two are a hoot.

Things are picking up. Good work guys

Dominic Stefanson (powwow), Wednesday, 12 November 2003 22:24 (twenty-one years ago)

can you use jelly, not mud ??

pieman (pieman), Wednesday, 12 November 2003 23:38 (twenty-one years ago)

I wouldn't waste my effort. Sod off tailender.

Aquarius (Aquarius), Thursday, 13 November 2003 05:28 (twenty-one years ago)

major yawn.

Aquarius (Aquarius), Thursday, 13 November 2003 05:33 (twenty-one years ago)

It'd be fun for the rest of though, Aqua. Come on, be a sport ...

pieman (pieman), Thursday, 13 November 2003 06:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Go visit the zoo pieman. If I wanted to (still) get abused, I would've stayed at school. I don't need to be abused by dropkicks who don't know what they're talking about.

Aquarius (Aquarius), Thursday, 13 November 2003 07:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Aqua, it seems you seek abuse even when it isn't there. Take a chill pill, to quote my 17 year old son.

If you think I'm a dropkick, I think you're behaving like a punt.

pieman (pieman), Thursday, 13 November 2003 08:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Have read your answers tailender, don't agree with you. the comments I have originally posted were not whinging, etc., but if you want open-slather, fine with me. I already explained my rationale for choosing my original tag, if it's what amuses people, fine. Go for it.

I don't need to analyse the action of the game to the nth degree (which is why I stated that trivia is boring, and still is), but to cop belittling comments from people who ought to know better really pisses me off (I assume that most of us are adults in age if not mentality).

Aquarius (Aquarius), Thursday, 13 November 2003 08:46 (twenty-one years ago)

When you come into an already well-operating community, find things you don't like, and start telling everyone there how they should do things so that it suits you - to me, that qualifies as whinging. It's selfish, childish and unrealistic.

Trivia is not boring. YOU THINK it's boring. Big difference. Everyone else was happy to allow the trivia to go along, they participated if/when interested, or just ignored it. You were the only one to bitch.
Again, selfish and childish.

Just because YOU do things in a certain way doesn't mean that everyone else has to do them the same way. Just because YOU like certain things, doesn't mean everyone else has to like them.

How about a little Christian humility, a little Christian tolerance, a little live-and-let-live?

Oh, and as for abuse: you've made a few totally unfounded assumptions about my character - things which many people in this forum would tell you are contradictory to my postings - and abused people in this thread without reason. So you don't need to get it, but you have no problems dishing it out?
My comments are about your behaviour. Not your character, your behaviour. I do not know anything about your character, so will not comment on it. Though it's hard to resist the urge to tell you to stop living in the school playground, and just grow up.

tailender (tailender), Thursday, 13 November 2003 09:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh, pie - jelly's not a problem. You have a preference for flavour?

tailender (tailender), Thursday, 13 November 2003 09:02 (twenty-one years ago)

bitter lemon

pieman (pieman), Thursday, 13 November 2003 09:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Would have thought raspberry was more appropriate . . .

tailender (tailender), Thursday, 13 November 2003 09:50 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't need to analyse the action of the game to the nth degree

You could try analysing it to the 1st degree once in a while. Most of your blitherings display all the cricketing knowledge of a microbe.

Noticed that Mystic Medusa says Aquarius' astro-motto is "I know".

:-)

tailender (tailender), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 11:34 (twenty-one years ago)

Taily
<>...Know what?...from my observation aqua knows very little apart from being a participant observer in an experiment on goose farming

horace, Thursday, 27 November 2003 01:55 (twenty-one years ago)

True horrie, but those are always the ones who least realise how little they know. ;-)

tailender (tailender), Thursday, 27 November 2003 08:15 (twenty-one years ago)

can you control aqua, horrie, you must have some memory of the viaducts

pieman (pieman), Thursday, 27 November 2003 12:47 (twenty-one years ago)

<>

aqua as a born again strikes me as having always been the GWBush of the ABC Forum...I acutally was never sure whether she was a goose or a turkey...mind you it being thanxgiving in the US atm her recent (blessed) silence suggest she may be more turkey than goose...

pieman - ignoring aqua seems to work...I suggest we make a pact to not respond to any of her posts...we should just let their general idiocy speak
