Yeah... but at the moment of the post, it was over four, and the AL ERA is 4.16. (Hughes' ERA is currently 4.12.) I was surprised to see that it had gone up one and a half runs -- up to league average, basically -- since early June.

anyone been to The Stadium in the last month? there is this really creepy home run animation w/ michael kay's head in it. It's kind of like JibJab with John Kerry's photohopped animated head ala South Park mouth movements. anyway Kay's head rocks left to right and the text reads SEE YA after a hr. and his eyes glint with silvery evil (part of the animation). truly disturbing, can't find a youtube of it.
