1B Hee Seop Choi - Unknown Korean Rap Song
Info from the Florida Marlins: On opening day, Hee Seop showed up with a Korean rap song, and requested that it be played every time he went up to bat. The song has taken the Marlin fans by storm. The music guys have no clue who sings the song or what it says, but the crowd loves the tune ... and so does Hee Seop.
RHP Jeff Weaver - Assortment of rock tunes
Used to come out to Gary Wright's "Dream Weaver." Weaver thought it was lame and requested that the music guys stop using the song.

Nate Silver at the Home Run Derby:
7:37 PM. By the way, guys really need to be able to pick their music, just like they pick their pitcher. Pujols lost a ton of momentum when Kansas came on the PA system.

So at the Orioles vs. Nationals game in Baltimore tonight they played a bit of the Specials "Ghost Town" before the game, the Replacements "Alex Chilton" before a relief pitcher came in, and some nice salsa for the pre-at bat music of the Orioles Melvin Mora. A zillion years later they still play John Denver "Thank God I'm a Country Boy," at the 7th inning stretch, right about "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." My son told me that in Washington the Nationals are doing the Red Sox thing--playing Neal Diamond "Sweet Caroline."

re: o's
it's kind of weird. they've been using i wanna be your dog a lot. i know they've been using it for luke scott, but someone else who was batting sixth also had it as their walk up music at a game i was at a couple weeks back.
they also tend to use here comes your man by the pixies a lot for pitching chanegs.

it's a great song! but also it came out 20 years before he was born and yeah, it's not exactly prime walkup material
it would be like me picking something off 'birth of the cool'
