Maybe NYY-PHI? The '09 Yanks and '07 Sawks were the last two teams to win the WS with the best record in MLB, before that it had been a while (90's Yanks I think)

Unlike the past few WS, at least I'll feel like I'm watching the best two teams in baseball. Actually, I could have said that about any of the four teams in the LCS's, which might be a first in the WC era.

Need a scrappy 87-win Cinderella team in the modern WS! Always! Maybe in ten years, the Portland Ecksteins.

I'll be indifferent to the result--can't yet think of a player or a storyline that provides a rooting interest for me, and I don't dislike either team--but I expect a good series.

(I think I'm supposed to dislike Farrell, but again, indifference.)

i'm fucking livid that this game got pushed back to 8pm. living in england, this would have been the last game i got to see in real-time, and a potential decider; i sat down on the couch, cracked open a cold one and stared slack-jawed at my entertainment devices, which all reported that the 4:30 start time i'd anticipated, and planned my evening around, was apparently just an invention of my imagination

4:30 was the original start time, yeah. I didn't discover the change until 4:00.
