i.e., it's small compared to most of its competitors but not actually small. it's absolutely a choice to spend that little on the team

yeah i don't doubt that pirates could be spending more, just wondering how much of that revenue share is nutter pocketing as pure profit

yankees operating income of just $2 million suggests that they are always operating on the bleeding edge and putting all their revenue back into the team
