MRI tomorrow for Cespedes

The year before they made the World Series. It’s not so god-damned sad to cheer for the Mets Jason: Marlins do have 2 rings Jeff Sullivan: No they don’t, they’ve all been sold

Noah Syndergaard, who was scratched a few days ago with a dead arm and sore biceps, has left his start today in the second inning after wincing in pain after two pitches to Bryce Harper, grabbing under his arm after the second pitch. He left trailing 5-2 and you have to wonder why the heck he was out there in the first place.
― mookieproof, Sunday, 30 April 2017 18:33 (seven years ago) link
Yeah, kind of saw this coming, especially since a very similar thing just happened to Cespedes.

I hope Conforto sticks around, but he also had a great April last year, and then tanked. He has been impressive though.

― Supercreditor (Dr Morbius), Friday, 5 May 2017 02:52 (seven years ago) link
I'd be curious (for climate change/we're all doomed purposes) to see a graph of mlb rainouts by year -- I'm sure some stathead is tracking that somewhere.

Mets won a pennant a year and a half ago, have gotten to the postseason in consecutive seasons for the first time in team history, and went 4-2 last week, but somehow they're not FUN.

@NYPost_MetsTwo factors in not starting Harvey on Wednesday: Team wants him to throw a side session first. And they want to avoid hostile environment.
