It's actually kind of good for the Dodgers though. Even Manny-free they should be able to easily walk with the division and they don't have to pay him what $8M or so.

it seems pretty horrible for the dodgers! it seems like one of those potentially tough psychological blows and $8 million is pocket change.

well when you can put an aggressive hitter, a hustle guy, a base stealer, a guy who's made it in this game on grit and determination at the top of your order it just seems like a big ol' silver lining on that dark cloud.

Maybe good is too strong a word. Still given the state of luxury box sales I wouldn't overlook the power of chump change.

the responsibility is on LA. you cheated the dodgers, you cheated the fans like no other fans have ever embraced you. you cheated your teammates because your teammates treated you like little puppies. i believe that the dodgers need to kick him off the team. he should never wear a dodgers uniform ever again.

it throws another cloud on the sport. we loved manny because he was goofy and fun and entertaining. im not going to take it personally like plaschke but it's hard to give anyone the benefit of the doubt. the steroids era is not over it. manny: by now you need to know that your body is your temple and you need to know what you are putting in your body.
