The most annoying way in which the postseason is unlike the season: StL and Dodgers getting 4 days off, just ludicrous.

at least they've done away with the extra in-series days off, i.e. the Let Sabathia Pitch All the Games schedule

The Tigers and Orioles get three days off, is there really a difference? The division winners all get plenty of time to set up their rotations, does it matter if it's three or four days of rest?

I understand the reasons for it. I'd kinda prefer no offdays ever, I like exhaustion and dance marathon-style extremity.

The days off are also a nice reward for WINNING your division rather than "making the playoffs".

I know how Fox wd feel about a Beltway World Series, so that's a plus

Screw the Royals for '85 and for making us the new sad sacks of baseball who can't make the playoffs.

None of these teams get much sympathy from me (except for PIT) so I want to see stars vs stars, either LAD vs LAA or PIT vs LAA (Cutch vs Trout).

LA at KC gets the primetime slot tomorrow ... I'm assuming this is because they want the LA markets to watch the games while there's still a chance (seeing as both LA teams are on the ropes) (even though it's not prime time on the West Coast) and not because TBS wants to draw people into the Royals Cinderella story.

When was the last time a Royals game at KC was on a national broadcast in primetime anyway? Sorry if this is a dumb question, and they get a guaranteed ESPN game of the week each year.
