2015 NLDS Mets v Dodgers

Rooting Dodgers here, but don't want either team to win a game after this series.

anyone but the Dodgers and their 320 million.

The Mets are a great story, but I want to see Kershaw and Greinke as often as possible--I most want to see the Jays against the Dodgers in the WS, see our hitters up against those two.

picked L.A., would be fine either way - mets for hometown loyalty, dodgers to see as many kershaw/greinke starts as possible, plus the possibility of the puig show and the new aggrieved columns it would undoubtedly provoke

getting home field was kind of a big deal for the dodgers.. I still insist the mets are a mirage because the nl east was a cauldron of poop but we'll see..

I guess the main reason Im excited about home field is the game is on at 6:30 and not fucking noon or 3.

When a guy with a 7.5 K/BB ratio walks the bases loaded, something is clearly not right, you have no choice but to take him out. He was making horrible pitches too, you can't blame the umps for squeezing him, he'd get two strikes and then nothing was even close.

kershaw and greinke should be a dominant 1-2 for a few more years assuming they keep the latter. kershaw this season, dang. if he'd started strong he'd definitely be taking home the cy and who knows what his stat line would have been?

xp yeah i can't see them being anything less than a perennial contender and division winner for at least 5 to 6 more years.

by hot takes, i'm guessing you mean "fire mattingly"-type talk? i don't think he's exactly a bad manager, and in terms of clubhouse stewardship he's a pretty good one, but there are def areas in which he needs to improve that i don't necessarily see improving.

either way Im disappointed but we're on the upswing.. per Stan Kasten there's two phases to the rebuild - the first phase was to take on all those retarded red sox contracts to see what they could do with them until they have time to rebuild the farm system. now the team has a top 5 farm, joc, seager, urias, de leon, etc etc and ONE HUNDRED FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS coming off the books this year. just need to resign greinke and we'll be back next year.
