No real preference. I like both teams, Houston's the better story, KC lost a close one last year. As a Jays fan, I'm not even sure which team I'd rather play.

clemenza, Thursday, 8 October 2015 14:52 (nine years ago)

no gomes, no glory

mookieproof, Thursday, 8 October 2015 15:39 (nine years ago)

why the fuck is aj pierzynski in the booth for this game? hey fox bringing in the most hated dude in the game is probably not a great idea.

panettone for the painfully alone (mayor jingleberries), Thursday, 8 October 2015 23:32 (nine years ago)

skateboards are the new combover (Dr Morbius), Friday, 9 October 2015 00:58 (nine years ago)

I liked that they had a first baseman who looked old enough to be everyone else's granddad.

Bob Watson?

I was thinking Art Howe, but I think my memory is busted. Who am I thinking of? Some guy who looked older than his years because of baldness and played first base. Might not have been an Astro.

Chris Young in for Ventura, hot takes aplenty

skateboards are the new combover (Dr Morbius), Friday, 9 October 2015 01:15 (nine years ago)

Rasmus really is a chinless mutant

skateboards are the new combover (Dr Morbius), Friday, 9 October 2015 01:24 (nine years ago)

@McCulloughStar
A couple years ago, Chris Young's right arm ached so badly he could not give his son a piggy-back ride. Now he is dominating in October.

@jorgearangure
@McCulloughStar 0 for your Passan like tweet

Andy K, Friday, 9 October 2015 01:45 (nine years ago)

"dominating"

johnny crunch, Friday, 9 October 2015 02:17 (nine years ago)

BEAST

skateboards are the new combover (Dr Morbius), Friday, 9 October 2015 20:40 (nine years ago)

Within couple years, we'll be laughing at the franchise that signed him this offseason to an obscene contract.

Andy K, Friday, 9 October 2015 20:54 (nine years ago)

well, need more from Colby now

skateboards are the new combover (Dr Morbius), Friday, 9 October 2015 22:11 (nine years ago)

weird that alcides escobar didn't go break carlos correa's leg there

mookieproof, Monday, 12 October 2015 17:19 (nine years ago)

Ventura just took care of the elbow, huh?

Andy K, Monday, 12 October 2015 17:27 (nine years ago)

not enough

mookieproof, Monday, 12 October 2015 18:12 (nine years ago)

@mccoveychron
He should have gone one flap down around the bases.

otm

mookieproof, Monday, 12 October 2015 18:14 (nine years ago)

not too sure about that call/overturn, but even less sure about gore trying to steal third with two outs

mookieproof, Monday, 12 October 2015 19:40 (nine years ago)

u mad son

mookieproof, Monday, 12 October 2015 19:54 (nine years ago)

votes went in for ROY before the postseason started, but even without correa's success in this series he's gotta be the AL shoo-in right

slothroprhymes, Monday, 12 October 2015 20:01 (nine years ago)

#stunned

mookieproof, Monday, 12 October 2015 20:17 (nine years ago)

great stuff

Drop soap, not bombs (Ste), Monday, 12 October 2015 20:18 (nine years ago)

@mlbdailydish
The Royals win expectancy at one point was 1.6%. Lower than at any point in their 2014 Wild Card game.

mookieproof, Monday, 12 October 2015 20:19 (nine years ago)

love what KC is doing here but I sure do feel bad for all those Houston fans who surely thought it was over after that Rasmus HR

The last time Houston got gut-punched like this, it went on the road and beat St. Louis in Game 6 of the 2005 NLCS. Do or die in KC on Wed.

Fifteen-year-old Georgie Springer took it the worst.

Andy K, Monday, 12 October 2015 21:17 (nine years ago)

more baseball! more!

Van Horn Street, Thursday, 15 October 2015 00:39 (nine years ago)

i am the lone Astros vote i think

Van Horn Street, Thursday, 15 October 2015 00:40 (nine years ago)

voted w prediction (royals), rooting stros

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 15 October 2015 01:02 (nine years ago)

Forgot to vote. Would have gone with rooting interest (Astros in five).

Andy K, Thursday, 15 October 2015 01:16 (nine years ago)

The sound mix for all the postseason games has been so shitty. I know the networks want the crowd sounds near the red to keep Mr. Couch Potato excited, but if they're going to keep the booth people so low, they might as well turn them off entirely.

Exit, pursued by Yogi Berra (WilliamC), Thursday, 15 October 2015 01:19 (nine years ago)

Andy K, Thursday, 15 October 2015 01:47 (nine years ago)

Great at-bats, guys.

Andy K, Thursday, 15 October 2015 01:53 (nine years ago)

skateboards are the new combover (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 15 October 2015 02:11 (nine years ago)

skateboards are the new combover (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 15 October 2015 02:42 (nine years ago)

Take him out?

Andy K, Thursday, 15 October 2015 02:42 (nine years ago)

HR was preceded by only a couple screamers -- couldn't have seen it coming.

Andy K, Thursday, 15 October 2015 02:46 (nine years ago)
