so is this the cubs' year????

cubs fans are hilarious to me as i grew up in the dark years of the bosox and always knew they'd blow it. cubs fans are like a dog that gets beaten every day yet still runs to the door to greet their master.

we have two cubbies fans in the office, one who works swings 4x10 and the other who works weekends overnight, last time the latter came in for some overtime in the middle of the week (they were on another streak I guess) the former goes "aren't you worn out from sacrificing all those goats?"

They were just waiting for the centenary. That's why they blew the post-season last year, it was too soon.

Plus it seems to be giving them some sort of D&D-style bonus to all stats.
