Here is a thread to wax poetic or opine on favorite bad ball hitters and/or amazing bad ball hits. Seems appropriate to start such a thread as such with one of the contemporary all time great bad ball hitters Vlad Guerrero going into the Hall of Fame.
One of my favorite bad ball hitters to watch was Andres Galarraga. That dude really liked to aggressively swing the stick and would try to hit just about anything. The guy would take these scythe like swings at stuff way outside and sometimes even pull them. It's a huge reason he struck out a ton, but he was so strong he could really drive the ball too if he madly made contact.

he's obviously not in their class, but eddie rosario is an up-and-comer. last year he homered on a pitch that was roughly eye-level

It’s a reference to a popular Red Sox podcast. It’s a fictional prize for the best performing player in a winning series. Someone on the MLB account must be a fan because they’ve referenced it before.
Drizzle that ketchup! It's a series win for the @RedSox against the Yankees! pic.twitter.com/oRAD0xWK6O— MLB (@MLB) June 17, 2024
