I was watching the Cardinals game today, and I couldn't pass up the thread title. You can lock this now.

i don't follow these things closely, but this is maybe the latest in-season starting of a team-dedicated thread i have ever seen

kudos clemenza! i don't know jake mcgee's reputation, but unless he is the nicest man anyone has ever heard of, he is a let-down to the name of McGee and a worthy symbol of what that franchise has become in the year 2022

i have absolutely no idea who is even on this team (apart from patrick corbin, who is -3.2 bWAR and +$72m over the last three seasons)

but they're 18-13 since the break! so that's nice for them

CJ Abrams and Lane Meadows are both very good
