giving away a bobblehead of the owner is really incredible

i genuinely think if steve cohen did it people would think it funny and if jerry jones did it the response would be huge. it just depends on which billionaire asshole you are, i guess.

i think he sort of misjudged the excitement over the ownership change. a relatively quiet offseason coming off a disappointing postseason didn't help matters.

how many owner bobblehead promotions have there ever been? the entire idea is fantastic, and an incredible insight into MLB ownership and what fealty it thinks it is owed

giving away a steve cohen bobblehead might be fine at first because he does spend hella money, but remains awkward even before you factor in him saying something terrible on twitter

giving away a bob nutting bobblehead would be a disco sucks-level disaster -- if anyone actually came to the park for it -- but at least he knows that and would never do it

the idea of a first-year owner who spent almost nothing in free agency doing it is *choice* tho

the orioles and nats finally settled their masn dispute this year and (strategically?) the o's announced a direct to consumer streaming service after the easter sunday massacre. even if the on field product isn't quite up to par, i'd rather pay $17 per momnth for the privilege of making that determination than the $80+ i have to shell out for cable or dtv/fubo streaming services.

Even with a cheap-o offseason, they should have been doing better

they should absolutely be hitting better but i don't think it's possible to succeed with this rotation

only two starters are above replacement level, and *they* only strike out 5 per nine innings

and kyle gibson just gave up six runs in two-thirds of an inning, jeez
