Work definitely hasn't been as much fun of late.

There has been a bunch of baseball gone down in the past couple of weeks.

My first question, how long can the Cardinals continue to play this well? They are a freaking wrecking crew.

yeah, ever since i started that thread about "why aren't they better"

so: was piazza tipping off the batters in the match des etoiles?

haha ha - that would be too funny¡
i believe i saw clemens shaking off piazza numerous times so who knows what those 2 were up to¡

When a team plays .620+ ball into late July it's no fluke. Hard to deny that they're the best team in the NL.

I saw them beat Cincy at Great American on Friday night 7-5 after the Reds got a 4-0 lead in the first, and I figured all along they'd come back. (Todd Jones and Danny Graves had a hideous 8th.) Pujols had 4 hits, and Edmonds made the best HR-stealing catch I've ever seen in person in the 9th...

that catch blew my mind.

I saw that game and catch on TV. I guess Edmonds robbed Cinci of an HR when they last met in St. Louis.

The Cards lineup is a wrecking crew, they can pound a team or chip at it with singles. They have been playing about as well as a team can play for the past month and a half.

Cinci blew another four run lead Saturday but pulled it out.

i thought the catch was great, but not as great as people were saying. it was a nice grab.

i'm still waiting for their starting pitching (namely suppan and marquis) to fall apart. but it's about time they get some good luck after the past couple years.
