i know this dude must irritate a lot of folks (other than just the ball players and those around him) but i'm going to have to say classic.

at the very least he deserves his own thread.

what inspired me to start this one is the clip i saw of him yesterday donning a damon wig and beard. i wasn't prepared for props and laughed so goddamn hard¡

he is also the best thing to happen to jays hitting since mondesi was traded¡ he usually picks on hinske (i remember him once asking eric if his .240 ba was before or after the canadian exchange rate) and i'd like to think is responsible for the great numbers eric puts up every time they're in tropicana. he's recently turned his sites on phelps only to watch him knock 2 in a row out of the park¡

I'd quote him, but I can't understand a damn thing he says, outside of, "HEY JOHNNY! JOHNNY JOHNNY!" I think what's funnier is how the announcers treat him - I imagine the Red Sox announcers this week, for instance, were probably covering their microphones and chuckling to themselves every so often (when they weren't actually commenting on air about his heckletastic stylings).

i've noticed that too - the t dot announcers used to talk about him - but recently it seems like they've been trying hard not to. i mean how can you not¿ i reckon someone may have told them to not justify this man's behaviour.

Has he gotten national attention? I've never heard of him. There's a Montreal guy who got NY air for heckling Mike Cameron into hitting 2 homers last week, though.

The SABR convention had an "Art of Heckling" presentation but I had to miss it.
