TRADE: Kevin Brown (Los Angeles Dodgers) for Jeff Weaver (New York Yankees)

HOT DAMN!!! Didn't know the Cubs were actually going after Maddux. They screwed up so bad back in the day when they let him slip away.

Kevin Brown pitches well when he is healthy which is about a dozen starts a year. He still gets well paid...glad it is not my money. It would make more sense to trade for bullpen or prospects and use whatever cash is left to get something else, but "The Madness of King George" is probably only beginning.
