Yay! Finally some good news for the Birds. Now all we need is Jason Marquis to be a stud, Kerry Robinson to bump his average about 80 points, and about 500 other miracles to occur and we should have the Central all locked up.

haha that could be Ankiel in the hands of TLR.

Robinson should have every chance to win Left Field, he's got the speed to be a lead-off man, which the Cardinals sorely need. And he's from the Lou! (I don't think the Marlon Anderson/Bo Hart 2nd base combo is gonna cut it.)

robinson leading off would totally be in line with recent la russian offensive doctrine, which states that the best way to score runs is to have the worst 2 hitters in your lineup at the top of the order.

I still think they should put Renteria for the number 2. The guy needs to suck it up even if his rbi's might drop. You hit in front of Pujols = you are gonna get some pitches to hit.

renteria may not be lightning fast but he has excellent baserunning awareness. he's like the anti-ruben rivera.
