I like Youk's tensely hyperactive twirling. It makes it look like he's about to deliver some kind of nunchuck beatdown.

Destroy: Chuck Knoblauch

There always used to be one or two guys in the league who would just stand there, straight up, bat limply resting against their shoulder and only when the pitch was thrown would they crouch and bend and hit - does anybody do this now?

I liked Joe Morgan's wingflap when I was first discovering beisbol. Sent my mother into hysterics whenever she saw him at bat.

Clearly I'm being spoiled by message boards that autocomplete img tags :(

Jeff Larish (Tigers). His helmet brim is always down, too, so he looks like an adult version of a kid on a little league team who is deathly afraid of a baseball and is only playing because his father has forced him to do it. When the ball is released, you expect him to flinch.

I always remembered Mike Pagliarulo having an awesome elbows-out stance, but google images won't confirm it for me.

my brother and I were at the dodgers/brewers game last month and we laughed at craig counsell. then we commented on his stance.

Actually watching tonight's game, Youk looks like he's boogieing. It's practically a boogie.

I always thought it looked like Jeff Bagwell was getting ready to take a crap when he was hitting.
